A Reading: Someone's hometown

My hometown lies on the slope at the foot of Mount Sumbing and Mount Sindoro. Because of its location, the air is cool and fresh. Early in the morning, you can see fog blanketing the region.

My hometown, relies mostly on agriculture and husbandry. It is most famous for its tobacco produce and its special breed of chicken called cemani. Cemani chickens are completely black. My hometown also produces various vegetables, such as cabbage, potato, and chili. The crops often supply neighboring regions, such as Yogyakarta.

A CREATIVE TEACHER

A Creative Teacher

One of my favorite subjects  at school is English. It is because my English teacher is a creative person. She makes  the class cheerful as well as meaningful. I still remember  what she asked us to do as the assignment for a descriptive text. She asked us to talk about and to perform what we were good at. 

Some of my friends described their ability in doing household chores like cooking, cleaning up, even washing cars or motorcycles! Some others talked about their ability in playing chess, playing online games, making handicrafts, and painting.

I decided to describe and perform my specialty. It was the Moon Walker dance. First, I told everyone about my ability, such as what it was about and how I learned it. Then, I performed it in front of the class. It happened that one of my classmates was good at it, too. Then, we danced together. It was so much fun!
