Complement (Pelengkap) itu ada 3 (tiga).
1. Noun (kata benda)
Example: I am a teacher
2. Adjective (kata sifat)
Example: I am happy
3. Adverb (kata keterangan) secara umum dibagi menjadi dua: - Adverb of place
Example: He is in the room
- Adverb of time
Example: It is Monday
To be mempunyai 4 arti:
1. Adalah : I am a teacher
2. Berada : She is at home
3. Menjadi : I will be a teacher
4. Tidak diartikan : I am happy
